We need leaders who meet us in the middle

Increasingly, elected officials across Kansas are moving toward the extremes. They’re touting a far-right agenda that simply doesn’t reflect the views or values of the state – or District 11. Karen Thurlow wants to meet voters in the middle. As an attorney, she’s spent 30 years helping opposing viewpoints reach consensus. Now, she’ll put that experience to work for District 11.

Join Karen as she fights for a brighter future for Kansans everywhere.

Common Sense Solutions

Karen Thurlow is an attorney, mom and active community member who’s raised two children in the Blue Valley School District. She’s seen how our legislature has shifted toward the extreme, putting party over people. Karen will fight for the common sense solutions voters in District 11 want and deserve: access to reproductive healthcare, strong public schools and fair tax rates.

“District 11 deserves a voice of reason, compassion and courage. That’s what I’ll bring to Topeka.”

Senate District 11

The boundaries of Kansas Senate Districts have changed since the last election! District 11 now stretches from 95th Street all the way to 215th Street and from areas as far west as Switzer to State Line Road.

If you live within the yellow boundaries, you’re a District 11 resident!

No longer in District 11? You’re likely in Senate District 8 or 35. Look up your districts on VoterView from the Secretary of State or check the map from the Johnson County Election Office.
